Undead

I'm planning on playing one character through the expansions and one through the main campaign. Now I want to do a Cleric for one and a Bard for the other, so I was wondering, which game original or expansions(SoU and HotU) has more undead.

On another note I was wondering. There are places where Paladins get special items. Are there any of those for other classes?

There's a ton of undead in the first game.

I don't recall encountering much (the one tomb is all that comes to mind and that was about 15 skeletons) in the expansions, but I have yet to beat both of them.

If you have to choose, I'd say play the cleric through the original and the bard through the expansions.
