Branwen NPC is designed for systems having BGII - SOA and TOB, the official TOB patch 26498, and either the Baldurdash fixpack OR the G3 Fixpack installed. It should be compatible with most other WeiDU mods.

This mod adds Branwen (a NPC from the original Baldur's Gate) to the starting dungeon of Baldur's Gate 2 (as if she were traveling with you when Irenicus and his minions ambushed your party).
I have given Branwen a new portrait (from Icewind Dale), written a new biography to reflect her travels with the party, and altered her to be a multi-class Fighter-Cleric (in the original Baldur's Gate, Branwen is a single-class Cleric). I have also adjusted her abilities to render her a viable alternative to other NPCs:
STR: 17
DEX: 15
CON: 15
INT: 10
WIS: 18
CHA: 12
She will not shout her dialogue at you; talk to her if you wish to free her. If not, ignore her and pretend that she doesn't exist (or don't install the mod).
If you remove Branwen from the party, she will return to the North (she won't wait around for you like a forlorn pet).
At this point in time, Branwen has a small number of interjections, no quests, and no romance. If you would like to see this mod expanded, then write encouraging or flattering notes to me at the above e-mail address.

Branwen NPC may be expanded (with or without the above stimulus) when I have the time and motivation to do so. If you are interested in writing for Branwen, please contact me (modding experience and modding community membership are NOT required) to discuss possible collaboration.
