It's probably a little early in the mod's development, but I saw somehing like this over at the Kitanya board and I couldn't resist. And, yes I know I majorly copied the idea.

Nah, it's cool. The "Ask <insert NPC name here>" threads have been used for ages. You didn't really copy Rastor, for Rastor copied just about everyone else who has made an NPC mod.

As for my question: You racist? No, seriously. Seeings how you are Half-Drow, I'd think you might have a problem with the other races. Also, does it bother you that I have assumed you would have a racial problem?

Arcajarn: Racist? That depends on whether or not you are an elf. Especially if you are an elf and you are a druid or a ranger. And, no, it doesn't bother me. I've lived with people assuming the worst of me for years, so why should that change now?

That's a good attitude.

How do you feel about me and you goin' down to the Underdark to hunt us some Irenicus? Sound like fun to you? Oh, wait...you're a Half-Drow. You don't have any problems with goin' down there, do you?

Arcajarn: The Underdark! I have never been there and I would love to go! It was my mothers home before she came to the surface and... *met* my father... Anyway, hunting Irenicus also sound like fun. I like fighting...

Heh, you sound eager to go there. But could it be said that you're just reckless?

Arcajarn:People have said that about me in the past... But I don't really know if I should take that as an insult or as a compliment.

And what's this about your father? A tough subject for you?

Arcajarn:In case you haven't heard, my father died some time ago. My brother didn't really seem to care and his mother disappeared shortly afterwards. I just assumed they were involved so, I began to look for them. It was only recently that I discovered someone else much more evil than those two assassins was responisible. At present, I am searching for him... I thirst for revenge...

She has lived her life hunted and hated. Can you show Kari the compassion she deserves? The Kari the Kobold mod is now in Beta!

Have you found that your heritage causes you any problems with the authorities or general public?

Arcajarn: Do you even have to ask? Of course it has. They've been after me, hunting me. But it doesn't bother me, really. I know how to hide. I know how to avoid them. Fortunately, my reputation hasn't spread to Athkatla yet, where I am currently. Although I have to keep my hood up and my face down, so that no one sees I am half-drow.

Do you find yourself having dirty thoughts about Viconia?

Arcajarn: Doesn't everyone? Yes, of course, but I usually talk to her about it in drow, rather than just letting everyone hear. I don't try to interfere in any relationships or anything, though.

A plain-looking girl enters the interogation room and sits down, then gazes at the half-drow skeptically.

So why would you follow a creature that is inferior to you when you could avenge your father's death on your own.

Arcajarn:I.. err... I prefer not to talk about such a unimportant matter.

Arcajarn:Ha! Don't make me laugh! I have travelled far and to many places since I left my home. I have heard many stories of what is happenning while I travelled and that is one which has been the same on a number of occasions. But as anyone would tell you, I would defeat Sarevok much easier than <he/she> would. I am, of course, a better adventurer than many people.

Arcajarn:Yes she was a drow. She left my home soon after I was born. I did get a number of chances to see her, while I was a child, and I learned many things from her in that short time. I... I haven't really seen her since.

P. Jane: Cry "Aww!

Arcajarn: I... Err... I don't really like elven rangers and druids, so if that's what <charname> is, I won't be able to stand her.

P. Jane: "Picky, picky.

Before P. Jane can make a reply to that, K. Lou enters the interview room and takes a quick look around.  Her eyes land on P. Jane.  "There you are!  What are you doing here?  We have other forums to go to, you can't just hang about in one place all the time!!"

Before P. Jane has a chance to so much as open her mouth, K. Lou snatches her hand and drags her out of the interview room without even glancing at Arcajarn (or any of the other interviewers).
